Pioneers: A History of Dance is an international street dance festival that launched in London in November 2013.
This festival specialises in educating the origins of authentic street dance forms from around the world, exploring various cultural dances through embracing international exchange with pioneers of street dance from the USA. Over the weekend – running twice in 2014 from 13th-14th June and 14th-16th November – these pioneers deliver a unique dance training programme, comprising of workshops, seminars, panel discussions, film screenings, performances, freestyle jams and networking opportunities with leading US and UK artists as well as organisations who support street dance culture.
