Did you make it to DO IT FOR DANCEAID in Aylesbury?
Wow, while we admit to being a little biased all we can say is “WHAT A SHOW!” It’s not just us saying that though, we have had so much positive feedback from those of you that watched it, and the hugely talented patrons and performers that performed in it!
Our Twitter account was in meltdown after the show with your messages, and the biggest question seemed to be; when’s the next one?
We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the acts involved; IMD, Mindtrick, Kane, Tap Attack, Belle Fisher, Kazzum, A Hoofer’s Song, Kayzar & the Criminalz, The Pulse Collective, Ricardo, Kandeez Dance, Kavman, Reflections, Hash Tap, Boy Blue Entertainment, Unity Academy, Antics, all the volunteers that were the danceaid dreamteam, the backstage crew at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE! You were all a key part of making it such a sensational experience.
For those of you that didn’t make the show we thought we’d treat you to Dance To This’ videos of the show;
We thought we’d kick the show off big with IMD:
Next up was a mesmerizing performance from Mindtrick:
Then it was time to change it up a little bit with 2 Tap performances, firstly from Kane Ricca:
And then from Tap Attack:
Next up was one of our hardest-working patrons Belle:
Followed by the young hip-hop crew who did so well on Got To Dance, Kazzum:
Then A Hoofer’s Song came on and began evoking memories from a different era altogether:
They’ve been working on their collaboration behind the scenes for a while and we were delighted that #DoItForDanceaid marked the first appearance of Kayzar vs Criminalz:
Taking us to the interval were the brilliant Pulse Collective:
We started the second half with a reading from Ricardo Da Silva before we were treated to the danceaid debut of the talented kids from Aylesbury dance school – Kandeez Dance:
Following on from Kandeez performance it was time for the youngest act of the night, the awesome Kav-Man:
We were treated to a beautiful and moving performance from 2 very talented twins next as Reflections moved the audience with their contemporary performance:
From one extreme to the other, and our next act, Hash Tap touched the audience in a whole different way with their hugely entertaining tap routine:
Olivier award-winning crew Boy Blue Entertainment were next up (also sporting the first ever BLUE edition of the danceaid logo! on the backdrop):
Following on from his appearance in the final of Got To Dance Rory exploded on stage next, giving it his all:
Next up we had a huge performance from the newly-formed Unity Academy crew:
Starting by surprising our competition winner we had Antics next:
And finally, to top the show, in every sense, and EXCLUSIVELY for #DoItForDanceaid we had the UK’s first ever TAP SUPERCREW:
