There are loads of different ways that you can really challenge yourself, have fun, AND raise money to feed, educate, equip and inspire suffering children with danceaid!
Run, Swim, Cycle … or do all 3 in a Triathlon!
Guaranteed Places
Following on from the huge amount of fun that our fundraisers had last time, we are pleased to announce we have even more guaranteed places for the London Triathlon 2016.
Ever since #TeamDanceaid was formed to take part in the London Triathlon, Chester Marathon and Liverpool Marathon in 2012, we’ve been enthusiastic to conquer more sporting challenges! In fact we’ve had team & individual entrants at the London Triathlon, London Survival 10k, and individuals have done their own sponsored events all over the UK ever since. If you are interested in taking part in the World’s biggest triathlon at the spectacular Excel London, then find out more and complete your entry form on our London Triathlon page. Places are limited and are always over-subscribed so reserve your place quickly to avoid disappointment!
Take on the ultimate 10k – Survival of the Fittest!
The Survival of the Fittest race is a 10k you’ll never forget at Wembley – the home of Survival London. Everyone knows the trademark arch of the home of English Football, which will provide the backdrop for a stunning adventure around Wembley Park in the Summer.
Exciting obstacles, superb spectating, a totally buzzing atmosphere … You need to be there!

Book yourself a slot on one of these events, or arrange your own, and then email info@danceaid.org to let us know. We’ll send you a #TeamDanceaid top and some helpful tips on how to raise money to keep our vital projects going, and extend them to even more children.
You can get started now by setting up an online fundraising page; hit “Start Fundraising” on the Virgin Money Giving website and decide what your fundraising target will be. On a smartphone/tablet you will need to scroll down and select ‘view fullsite’ to construct and edit your page. Select ‘Personal Challenge’ and use your page to rally the support of friends, family and colleagues to help save lives while you sweat and get you across the finish line.
You can also take this paper sponsorship form (download here) around your office, class, playground, or gym to collect donations the old-fashioned way too!
Go Trekking!
Climb Mount Kilimanjaro
Push yourself to the limit and climb all 5,895m of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania – one of the largest volcanoes on the planet. Your challenge is to reach the summit. The money you raise during this once-in-a-lifetime experience will change the lives of vulnerable children across the UK, Africa, and Asia. Rob and his team photographed here did the conga and as many dance routines as possible along the way! Perhaps the most extreme conga line ever!
If you are interested in future treks and challenges or organising your own then get in touch by emailing info@danceaid.org.
Fancy something else?
It doesn’t have to be any of the above though. There are plenty of other personal challenges you can set yourself to raise money for danceaid; whether it is climbing, kayaking, sky-diving, rowing or walking, we want to hear all about it!
If you aren’t feeling quite so adventurous or would rather dance to make a difference then check out our Other Ways to Help page for more ideas to raise money for danceaid and transform the lives of children around the world.
