Danceaid is proud to be the official charity partner of Alpha Elite Workshops.
Alpha Elite Workshops provide dance workshops for schools outside of London, helping students become the dancers they aspire to be. They teach Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Tap and Musical Theatre, and they always aim to ensure that their classes and lessons provide fresh challenges in an atmosphere tailor-made for learning. Alpha Elite offer an experience for dance schools nationwide that is fun, relaxed yet focused.
You can tell by this picture from 2016’s Survival 10k that they really are dedicated to everything they take on and put their mind to, whether it is teaching, dancing or helping danceaid make a difference to children’s lives.
Teaching children from around the country you see the same joy from dancing everywhere. Our students are so lucky to be supported by families and schools in their love of dance. But in a way it’s also a reminder that none of us choose where we are born, and what opportunities we will get in our childhood. So many suffer through no fault of their own, it’s what they are born into. It’s great to be able to help give children a much needed chance at a life that, without danceaid, they simply wouldn’t get.
